While working on different articles for this site I could not avoid such condition as lethargy. Moreover, I was lucky to observe typical case of lethargy and use an approach I developed called RANC to treat the patient who was sleeping for 3 months.

It happened in 2007. I had been working as a neurologist in Krasnodar city clinic №14 for three years. After appointment I usually visit my patients at home. One day the pediatrician of our polyclinic came to me and asked to visit a young man who was in a strange condition, as if in brain coma. There were no time for discussion, she left an address and went away. After work I went to a patient. Patient's mother met me and we came to a room where he was. The young man was laying in the bed with closed eyes as though he was sleeping. It was 4 or 5 p.m. Mother told me that on the previous day morning he set off to find work, after a few hours returned nervous, agitated and went to sleep without mentioning a word. Told only that somebody laughed at or dressed down him. She told me that her son is very sensitive and react to unfairness.

Money question is the most important one. When buying some new things or service this question always arise. It is a very complicated question as when we decide to spend certain amount of money, we go through 2 stages before making a decision.

Whether the thing is affordable considering your finances? If we are talking about a necessary thing like a car, but produced by Rolls-Royce, then it is obvious that for most people such car is out of reach. However, if the offered thing is needed and affordable, people start looking for the ideal quality-and-price combination and when it is found, they purchase the thing.

The situation with buying medical services is more complicated. First requirements in our list to the medical service are safety and quality. Nobody being of sound and disposing mind will ask for medical help, even free of charge, if he knows that the result will be worse than it was previously. Thus we are trying to find first class services.

Medical help that we consider traditional is not unfortunately ultimate truth. If it was so, there would be no researcher trying to find more effective treatments. Medical help that we are given in our hospitals is just an approved and affirmed list of certain standard steps.

Before we start talking about the treatment of particular diseases, I would like to share suggestions that help me to understand positive results of RANC treatment approach.
I always was puzzled by complexity, inconsistency, irrationality of reasoning about causes and mechanisms, that lay in the basis of the disease. When I was studying at the college I could not get rid of the thought about the nervism theory, creators and supporters were Sechenov, Pavlov, Botkin, Behterov, Anuhin. This theory says that the brain has the priority to regulate relations between the organism and environment. In other words, the brain can control everything including itself. I suppose, the following conclusion should be made: any disorder in any place in the organism is just the reflexion of a disorder in brain centers work, responsible for this area or function.
